We've got a new documentary being published today on our new platform, "Shahara"! This time, we're delving into the hot button issue of unsafe abortions. East Africa has more than double the number of unsafe abortions carried out than the global average. Every day, young women are being forced into situations that not only put their health at risk, but expose them to sexual predators posing as doctors. Africa Uncensored duo Peris Gachahi and film-maker Elijah Kanyi produced this unflinching look at an issue, with sobering footage and interviews from the river banks of the Nairobi river that should get you thinking more deeply about the issue.
